Grace Kensington has been my secret crush since we were kids.
Though she is definitely all grown up now.
Long blonde hair, big blue eyes, and curves that could bring even the toughest hockey player to his knees. She’s the full package, too—smart, funny, and as real as they come.
One might go as far as to say perfect. Except for one tiny detail: Grace is my coach’s daughter.
And she just walked back into my life. Apparently she’s doing an internship for the team.
The last thing I should do is get close to her again.
So the plan is to keep my distance.
But that plan flies out the window the very first time we run into each other…and I’m naked in the locker room.

Enthusiastic to listen to this one since I really enjoyed the first book in the series. Unfortunately I didn’t feel it actually focused on the romantic storyline m as much as it revolved around alcoholism and it’s hardships. Also, pet peeve and non-fave trope-hurdle: the “oh why doesn’t he/she see how much I’m into him/her?!” Vs “oh, I’m so into him/her - but I’m not good enough so it’s better to be an ass and ignore him/her?!” Not to mention, there were so, so many little idiosyncrasies that bugged me throughout the book -like a foster child calling his permanent foster parents by their title and surname whilst living with them during his teens. Nah. I ended up high speed:in the last 8 chapters just to get through it.
