The Hunter Hercules is a western adventure set in Texas and it opens with a young man by the name of Chauncy Branrare riding through the prairies. He has come to the Wild West from New York looking for an adventure. Suddenly he hears a woman's scream and dashing to the sound, comes face to face with a black panther about ready to spring at a young girl.
