This is a powerful, beautiful, heartbreaking, well written, and gripping story. Grab your tissues because you will need them while Leah’s story unfolds before you. This novel is “based”on a true story from within the author’s own family and it gives you an inside of the American eugenics movement, a piece of history that should have never been allowed to happen. Highly recommend.
