The narration is flawless and deeply emotional — the narrator truly elevates the story. That said, I couldn’t help but feel that the main character might have benefited from a few hobbies outside of endlessly revolving her life around two men and their existential, metaphysical weight. With a fuller life and less overthinking, she might have saved herself (and us) from so much mental spiraling. A beautifully written novel, but also a very realistic reminder that love shouldn’t be the only thing keeping us busy.
