Oscar Wilde’s enduring masterpiece, this fable of innocence and corruption, purity and decay has become a true classic. The beautiful, narcissistic Dorian Gray, torn between the influence of cynical hedonist Lord Henry Wotton and tortured artist Basil Hallward, sells the beauty of his soul in exchange for external perfection. Ultimately, he cannot escape the disfigurement of sin. Wilde’s remarkable wit and memorable, epigrammatic lines dazzle in audiobook form!

This is an absolutely fantastic novel; not only very well written but perfectly paced and handled. It may very well be my, personal, favourite novel aside from a very personal; other, favourite of mine. The author handles the story perfectly. The homo-erotoism is abundant/appearant; but then again the author himself was also ('a flaming') homosexual. The only novel I would highly/-"higher-ly" recommend would be; "The uncensored picture of Dorian Gray"; as it is, not only very obviously written by the same author; *"Sir" Oscar Wilde, but it is also, in fact, the same novel in it's original form; lacking the censored and 'prohibited' 'gay'/homosexual nuances/mentions of the original piece. A must read for any and all true lover of *The Classics*
