This book is the second in A series. Its A continuation of the best of the best true stories about Sir David as he prefers to be called.
His stories are at times very funny Interesting and very captivating. Mostly about the Mormon church and its crazy ways history and beliefs as well as his experiences being both in and out of the church, having resigned twice.
He has been married 6 times and raised 14 children most of them are still LDS and have rejected him because he resigned .

I’m glad that it’s easy to get a book published nowadays, but unfortunately this is absolutely the wrong format for this writer. It could have been good as a podcast epidode with the author talking freely off script. Here, there are too many awkward sentences where the emphasis is way off. It’s distracting. As far as the content goes, it feels like a slacking high schooler’s low effort anecdotal ramblings. The personal anecdotes were definitely interesting and I think the story being told is a story worth telling. This guy may be a bit too rough for Mormon Stories, but he could literally just make his own podcast. The worst part for me was near the end, where he retells early mormon history from memory. Mostly everything fits with what real historians have written about, but he is a little bit too open about fact that he does not remember some names and details that a simple google search would have fixed. The fact that he clearly didn’t even try to google anything to fill in the gaps and remind himself as he was writing is disappointing. That works when you’re just talking off script, but in book form? Sorry, but I can’t recommend a book like this to anyone. I’m still giving it two stars because - after my frustration with this book went away - I don’t think it was a complete waste of time. There were some interesting anecdotes in there after all.
