Det här är en trevlig spion- och deckarhistoria i Jane Austen-miljö. Den sista tredjedelen är riktigt spännande och intressant, medan de två första är något långdragna - boken hade nog vunnit på att kortas lite. Och jag erkänner att jag till en början inte är speciellt förtjust i Mary eftersom hon har en “holier than thou” attityd - hon vet minsann bäst hur en ung dam ska bete sig (sen att hon inte riktigt gör det…). Det här är första boken i en serie och jag kan absolut tänka mig att lyssna vidare, med tanke på att Marys beteende kan ha förbättrats i och med slutet på boken. 🙂
