When Sir Percy, alias the Scarlet Pimpernel, delivers the Dauphin to his monkish protectors (continuing the storyline of Eldorado), he finishes his part in this story. But there's more, as the grown-up Dauphin's half-English stepson becomes the target of plots and romance.
