The Web of the Golden Spider

The Web of the Golden Spider starts in Boston, where a girl of the main protagonist Wilson is kidnapped by a strange priest. The chase for the girl and the kidnapper takes Wilson to South America and the unreachable slopes of Andes, where he gets tangled in the clash between an ousted queen and the revolutionaries who want to make their country a republic.

Also, there is an infamous legend of a buried treasure and Wilson gets torn between saving girl, helping revolutionaries and searching for gold.
