OH MY GOD!! This is one of the best books in a l o n g time. For starters, the narration was amazeballs! Such a good narrator for this book. And the writing.. 🤩🤩 the prose was amazing, the story was funny, charming and so beautiful and the love story between the two main characters were sooo engaging and sweet. Fully invested all the way through loving the different personalities of the sisters and the MMC was totally swoony with his perfect imperfections. The MFC was so great too. Her past bad experiences and her subsequent growth throughout the book after having to face them was just superbly written and even though the trope maybe wasn’t relatable (not much of a musicians daughter here) her hang ups and actions were. And also I must just say the way the author wrote about music is the first time I’ve stumbled across a story where it feels natural and not cringy at all. Even the few lyrics felt good and like they were there for a story carrying reason as supposed to a hidden agenda from the author trying to be artsy. Absolutely recommend! I laughed, I cried, I swooned and cursed. The perfect love story if you ask me. 💕
