Improving Concentration

Our attention is drawn to everything that moves in all the senses perceived by all our senses. There are many distractions to our attention. Sometimes internal, like thoughts that disturb us, desires to eat, drink, move; and external distractions, such as noises, our phone, things to do, and many other examples that you might find yourself. Let's try to identify what is specific to us, what consistently bothers us when we want to accomplish a task, whatever it may be.

Becoming aware of this will help us reduce the duration and frequency of this distraction. There are two main types of attention: focused attention, which we decide to direct at something while staying centered and concentrated; and open attention, also called defocused, which invites us to welcome everything around us. Throughout this program, we will experience meditations that will allow us to discover and experience, for ourselves, their essential mechanisms. With these mindfulness meditation concentration sessions, your attentional abilities will gradually improve and thus enhance your concentration."

Si vous souhaitez une légère modification pour améliorer la fluidité, voici une version ajustée :

"Our attention is drawn to everything that moves, engaging all our senses. Many distractions vie for our attention, both internally—like disturbing thoughts, hunger, thirst, or restlessness—and externally—such as noise, our phone, tasks to complete, and numerous other examples you might encounter. Let's identify what specifically distracts us when we aim to accomplish a task.

Recognizing these distractions will help us reduce their impact. There are two primary types of attention: focused attention, where we deliberately concentrate on something while staying centered; and open attention, also known as defocused, which encourages us to embrace everything around us. This program will guide you through meditations designed to help you discover and experience these mechanisms firsthand. As you progress through these mindfulness meditation sessions, your ability to focus will gradually improve, enhancing your overall concentration.
