It is 1967 and college freshman, Alan Laurence, has just met the girl
of his dreams. Her name is Chris, and he couldn’t be happier. Only there’s one slight problem. The sexual revolution is underway and Chris is the only girl Alan has ever been with. With hormones at full boil, Alan caves to temptation and engages in a series of hysterical relationships with other girls.
Eventually his on again-off again romance with Chris falls apart, and years later he is still trying to understand why. The cause, he decides, is Lydia Biswell, a homely classmate who swore revenge on him for a series of practical jokes he played on her years before.
Alan’s journey through the swinging sixties makes for a laugh-filled romp through a unique period in time.
