The Peacemaker

"The Peacemaker" is the story of a messy and petty schoolteacher who lived in one of London's outer suburbs with his awful, drunken wife. His only escape was experimenting with his secret invention. But things change for the headmaster after his daughter, the peacemaker of the novel, brings sex and idealism into his life.
