STORY 1. Peterâs father liked to look for birds. Every time he saw one he had not seen before he liked to check it with his binoculars, take a photo, and write down its name in his bird book.
One day Peterâs father showed him a picture of a big black bird with a yellow tail, and said, âThis is a Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo; I have not seen one before in the wild, but I hear there is a pair down by the lake. How would you like to come with me today to look for the Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo?â
Do they find the Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo?â
STORY 2. Tomorrow is Friday â it is School Sports Afternoon.
Peter is looking forward to it because he is good at sport.
He especially likes RUNNING and JUMPING.

Peter was so excited on this Friday morning because he expected to be a winner again. He announced to his parents and friends âI hope you will all watch me win the three events again this year!
Peter's first race starts; but what happens? Does Peter win like he expects?
