While I managed to overcome the tribulations of the visit from the hero, my life as Jack Girard, the protagonist from the game Survival Strategies of a Corrupt Aristocrat, couldn’t stay peaceful for long. I have to train, do side quests to recruit new allies, find the culprit behind the lizardmen’s assault, and too many other things to count. Among them is something of paramount importance for nobles: finding a fiancée. But my bodyguard Adele—who’s also the strongest character in the game—isn’t too happy about that last one. And now we’ve got to deal with another monster assault?! Come on, it’s just one problem after another! Just when will I be able to live a life in the lap of luxury?!
