Ann Henning Jocelyn (born 1948) is a Swedish poet and playwright. Born in Gothenburg, she wrote her first story at the age of five and has been writing ever since. After the death of her grandparents, Henning’s mother relocated the family to Molndal. Henning found school life difficult there and was subject to bullying, as the result of her love of literature. However, she managed to write plays that entertained her classmates and the bullying subsided. After studying at Gothenburg University, Henning moved to London to work at the Open Space Theatre. In 1983, she moved again, this time to Ireland, which is where she now lives.
