Stan is in prison, convicted of a crime he swears he didn't commit, and desperate to prove his innocence. And girlfriend Billie, is determined to help him. Kelly, his victim, is struggling to cope after an horrific ordeal that left her traumatised and lonely. For Billie, who has her own secrets and demons in her past, enlisting a private detective to look for vital evidence that might set Stan free is a way out of this nightmare. Billie has complete faith in Stan but when she hears Kelly's version of events, cracks begin to appear and her faith wavers.
