I have a house in Otricoli. I's a small town situated where Umbria takes over from Lazio, divided by the Tevere, 70 km from Piazza Popolo in Roma, along Via Flaminia. It’s one of these charming cittadini climbing the hills everywhere in Italy, overlooking beautiful eternal landscapes with remains of civilizations several thousand years back. It’s basically in the geographical middle of Italy, giving it a perfect location to reach every corner of Italy handily, by car or train. I need to emphasize, though, that the immediate surroundings invite to infinitive exiting excursions, activities, findings and pleasures, whereas longer journeys may seem unnecessary. I will in this booklet focus on the nearby treasures.
