âAfter the way you have harped about Halloween, you decide to celebrate it in a nice and quiet atmosphere? And at home?â
He shrugged. âWell I figured that it would be a good idea to spend the night together alone, Beth.â
âIt would not work for me, Tommy.â
âWhy?â
âIsn't there going to be a costume?â
He scratched his head. âCostume?â
âYes, darling. Who doesn't know that Halloween goes with costumes?â
âOkay. That's not a problem. I would get the costumes for us.â
âAnd speaking of costumes, why don't we both get each other a costume?â
âWhat do you mean?â
âYou understand what I mean. I would buy you what I would like to see you dressed up in and you can do the same for me.â
âI see. But would you have the time to do it? I mean, considering that you're going to be busy at work and all.â
âThat wouldn't be a problem for me. I can shop online and have it delivered to me.â
âOkay. No problem. If you want it that way then so be it. I think that I kind of like the idea too. We can buy each other what we would love to see on each other.â
