The Department of Dragon Affairs sends Dr. Kiyana Barnes to Lochguard with a group of human women open to having dragon mates. Sheās supposed to help them adjust to being around dragon-shifters while also observing how the clan works on a day-to-day basis. She most definitely isnāt supposed to notice how one look from a certain dragonman teacher sets her skin on fire, let alone ask him to kiss her in a weak moment, given her past.
