Hot Tea and a Cold Case

Tea Room owner and reluctant amateur sleuth Laney Powers decides to enjoy some of the natural beauty of Vermont and travels to a popular nearby hiking spot. She runs into the Mayor of Iberden, Raymond Andrews, who decides to join her on the hike, and knowing that there’s safety in numbers, Laney is glad for the company. The hike turns into a murder investigation when they make a gruesome discovery on the trail. Teaming up with her best senior gal pal, Babby, Laney is determined to get to the bottom of a case that’s been cold for decades when she finds out, that for Babby, it’s personal. Suspects come out of the woodwork, and Laney learns that even in a small town not everyone is as they seem. Can the two friends solve the case and find closure for Babby?
