Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890 - 1937) gilt als der bedeutendste Autor der phantastischen Horrorliteratur - quasi der "Edgar Allan Poe" des 20. Jahrhunderts. Er stößt auf immer neue, furchterregende Artefakte einer vergangenen Zeit, bis er in ein Kellergewölbe vordringt, in dem seltsame, längliche Kisten aufgereiht stehen... Ein feines Exempel bester klassischer Horrorliteratur!
