The story of 5 American castaways, stranded on an island in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean is entertaining enough, although somewhat far-fetched. As a group they are very resourceful, but they do occasionally require a helping hand from a mysterious, unknown benefactor. One great thing about this book, it closes the legend of Captain Nemo, the hero from 20 Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.
