Not bad in any way but just not anything that was memorable or inspired me to read the rest in the series. Sure, I didn’t DNF it, but it didn’t do much more than just kept my attention, gave a few “aww”-s, a “yum” or two, and it luckily lacked any OTT drama. But yeah, there are better books to read.
