The title promises a guide to gods, heroes, sagas, rituals and beliefs, but does not deliver. Only one god is described, no heroes, no old sagas, a few beliefs/holidays. Instead we get a description of the chinese astrology in numbers, the authors personal opinions on his current US government and a summary of how martial arts styles have been passed down and migrated.
