#3 When you are struggling with an addictive compulsion, you feel exhausted. By gaining control over your compulsion to act out and do something, you are wasting creative energy and draining your energy that could be put towards something else.

You will feel trapped and like there is no end to your misery, but as you develop better habits and adhere to the laws of greater self-control, you will tap into your freedom.
