Although Keanu Reeves, the famous movie star, is primarily viewed as an actor he is at home in other forms of art as well. Yvette Kulik, the author, was part of the presentation of the 'Ode to Happiness' art book, Alexandra Grant's first collaboration with Keanu Reeves, at Waterstones bookshop in London in 2011. She also attended, as a journalist, the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival in 2012, where Reeves presented his documentary film titled ‘Side by Side,' and the third International Champs-Elysées Film Festival in 2014. These events, excellent Reeves' movies and information gathered from books, and various articles and videos about his activities convinced the author that she should write this book, which is full of information. Her book reveals the relationship between a selection of his movies and some of Keanu Reeves' favourite art and artists. Sometimes this connection is clear and strong; and though less identifiable at other times, it is always there to be found and explored.
