After cracking a counterfeit art case, fake lovebirds Fiona and Giles are summoned to the royal palace to commend their efforts. There, Fiona meets the king's younger brother Grenville, who slips a rose into her hair. Later, Fiona is overjoyed when her beloved uncle Reginald suddenly returns home for a visit. Yet when Reginald meets Giles, his keen eye for detail spots something fishy about the two. But Fiona and Giles hardly have time to worry about their cover being blown, because when they attend the White Palace Ball, Fiona is suddenly abducted and thrust into a life-threatening crisis!
