Chastille and Nephteros have joined forces to beat back Archdemon Bifrons’s chimera. During the battle, Kuroka, an assassin from the church who’s out to avenge her father Raphael’s death, attacks Chastille.
Upon learning the origin of the chimera that’s been chasing her, Nephteros’s heart breaks, leaving Chastille to fight it on her own. Meanwhile, Zagan stands before Kuroka, proclaiming himself as the man who killed her father.
