Stephanie heeft dit boek geschreven als therapy (het is echt heel heftig wat ze heeft moeten doorleven als prijs voor haar te grote toewijding) maar ook natuurlijk om de wereld haar kant van het verhaal te vertellen. De vriendschap met Melania zit aan haar kant vele malen dieper en zelfs als ze voelt dat ze eraan kapot gaat blijft ze haar vriendin trouw, bijna tot de laatste bladzijde. Het verhaal is goed geschreven maar door Stephanie veel te snel voorgelezen 😅 gelukkig is de snelheid in te stellen.
