Rum and Vodka

'I hate looking back at things I've done. So I'm always doing something new.'

A short monologue play from the multi-award-winning author of The Weir.

A young Irishman with a drink problem tells of three momentous days in his life when his drab nine-to-five existence is obliterated in an escapist binge which threatens to engulf him.

Conor McPherson's play Rum and Vodka was first performed at University College Dublin in November 1992. It was subsequently performed at the City Arts Centre, Dublin, in August 1994.
