Apocalypse Revealed is a theological work by Emanuel Swedenborg, the 18th-century Swedish scientist, mystic, and theologian. The text provides an exhaustive commentary on the Book of Revelation from the New Testament. Swedenborg presents the notion that the events described in Revelation are not merely historical, but symbolize the internal spiritual struggles individuals face. He expounds on his vision of the Last Judgment, the spiritual world, and the nature of the Second Coming. Drawing from his claimed spiritual experiences, Swedenborg asserts that everything in Revelation has a deeper, allegorical meaning which relates to the human soul and its relationship with the Divine.
