God Hates a False Balance

It is often said that God loves the sinner, and hates the sin. This should not give us incentive to sin more, but reveals the extent of God's love and compassion to help us remove all trace of sin from our lives. Sin is heavy, it is unjust, in the moment of participation it seems right, but it is deceitfully wrong and burdensome. The song by Chey, "The Depth of Your Love" at the end of the sermon, gives the listener an opportunity to reflect on the sermon.
