The rimrock keeps its secrets—until the day they come crashing down.
When drifting cowhand Jake Calder rides into the lonely settlement of Mesa Flats, he isn't looking for trouble. But trouble finds him fast when a ruthless cattle baron and his hired guns decide the valley belongs to them alone.
A murdered rancher. A stolen land claim. And a town too scared to fight back.
Jake knows the truth behind it all—but knowing the truth in Mesa Flats can get a man buried quick.
As threats turn to gunfire and the law looks the other way, the trail leads higher and higher into the jagged rimrock above the valley. There, under a burning desert sky, the final score will be settled where one wrong step means a fall into eternity.
Because on the edge of the cliff…
only one man will walk away.
And the reckoning is coming.
