Yellow Head

e-book

Only twelve years old, Jacob lost his parents and ended up in an orphanage in Stockholm in the beginning of the 19th century. The future held little promise but help arrived in the shape of his uncle, Captain Fahlström. Jacob joined his motley crew on a merchant ship and after weighing anchor he set sail on an amazing voyage. A voyage for survival. The story is filled with adventure, friendship, laughter, courage and strong men and women.

Even though it happened a long time ago, we face the same fears and battle with the same prejudices even today.

This book is inspired by the life of Jacob Fahlström, who was born in Stockholm 1795 and died in America 1859. He was the first Swede who arrived in Minnesota and he lived with American Indians for many years. They gave him his name: Yellow Head.
