I'm a simple man who lives by simple rules.
You work, you love, you build a life, and you die. No one should outlive their given time.
I was ready to grow old and turn gray. I was ready to hang up my lasso and let the sunset take me to another place.
Until the woman I loved turned me into a vampire against my will. Now, I have to live two hundred years to finally die.
All I want is to be left alone so my time can come to an end—but then I smell a scent that possesses my body. It's so good, so mouthwatering, that I follow its trail. And it leads me to Druscilla.
The reason I will live for all eternity—if I want to. I have to decide if I want death more than life with my mate.
Her life is in my hands. And she has no idea.
