Patience Granger has tested out of the junior division during her first year at the Royal Academy and is now in the senior division. She’s also enrolled in two tracks—civil service and home economics—so she’s got a full plate, and Patience is looking forward to learning a whole lot! But before she can get excited, it seems the senior division is going to have its own set of challenges. Patience is now in the same year as Princess Margaret, which means she’ll have to take classes with the princess and her less-than-affable friends. While juggling her academics, the music club, and lady’s maid duties, she’s also got to save up for her and her brother’s futures. Patience receives an invitation to the alchemy club, which is rumored to be full of eccentric students, but using her knowledge from her previous life in modern Japan, she might be able to strike gold with an invention! Patience’s first year in the senior division has only just begun, but it looks like she’s in for a busy one!
