Determined to get to the bottom of the mystery around the poisoned gem, Sophie and her friends enter a nearby forest to seek the help of the god residing within. The smell of blood hangs in the air, however, and they discover why when they stumble across a gravely wounded creature of gargantuan proportions. Despite being a total novice when it comes to casting healing spells, Sophie agrees to do whatever she can, and ends up saving the creature from certain death. Except this isn’t any old creature. No, this hulking great bearlike animal is actually the god they came here looking for! On recounting their respective tales, everyone listening quickly comes to realize that the mage who put a gaping hole in the powerful (and cuddly!) god, Azuello, was the same man responsible for supersizing the creatures that attacked the town. Furthermore, from the description of him, he appears to be from Magyck, Lunetta’s homeland, causing her to wonder if her past is finally catching up with her.
