Within the Royal Institute’s graveyard, the fight against the undead continues! But this time, a stronger foe has appeared: a zombie king. Cress takes the lead in laying the monster to rest, but Zenos also happens to distinguish himself in the battle—enough to finally be offered a position among Goldran’s faction. Still, the ambitious professor doesn’t trust easily. It’s clear Zenos will have to aptly navigate the complex web of intrigue that is Institute politics if he’s to truly impress the man and get the information he needs to track down Afred. He’ll even have to take on some odd jobs along the way—everything from dog walking to operating on a young lady from one of the seven great noble houses.
