Little Dorrit

'Every failure teaches a man something, if he will learn; and you are too sensible a man not to learn from this failure.'

A timeless classic, and a moving tale of hope, courage and resilience, Little Dorrit remains one of Dickens's most admired works.

Originally published in serial form between 1855 to 1857, the novel centres around a young, kind-hearted woman named Amy Dorrit. Her father, incarcerated in the Marshalsea Prison in London due to his serious financial debts, is well cared for by the devoted Amy who, despite her hardships, retains a cheerful disposition. Through a series of strange events involving murky family secrets, Amy's life becomes entangled with a mysterious stranger. Soon enough, her circumstances are changed forever. A compelling narrative of love, redemption and hope, Little Dorrit is a reminder of the importance of moral strength amid corruption. This audio edition is beautifully narrated by Emma Gregory.
