Haunting and quietly unsettling. This feels much more like a trauma story than a love story. I really liked the structure and the focus on the aftermath rather than the event itself. It made the book feel original and thought-provoking. I didn’t feel very attached to the characters, but the ideas stayed with me long after I finished. Not an easy read, but definitely a memorable one.
