Mr. Irresistible. It's in black and white beneath his yearbook photo for all to see. Tyler Cannon: All-American jock, prom king, and our very own hometown hero. A triple threat.
He was the most popular guy in school, getting whatever—and whoever—handed to him on a silver platter. Even though we ran in similar circles and had most of our classes together, I was invisible to him. Not once was I ever his flavor of the week.
Not that I wanted to be. Nope, not at all. I mean, who would want his big, strong hands caressing their body or his green eyes piercing straight into their soul?
Ten years have passed, and my childhood crush has mostly dwindled. Sure, he still crosses my mind sometimes—usually at night—but hardly a blip on my radar.
Until I find myself working as his personal assistant.
I spent years being invisible to this would-be god. I'd like to see him ignore me now. Only, we're constantly at war. Nothing good ever comes from wanting your boss. There's a fine line between love and hate, and we're dancing precariously close to the edge.
Contains mature themes.

DNF. When I read the blurb I thought this was a book right up my alley. An unrequited love story with the PA having nursed a crush on the boss since they were kids, and then being given a chance for redemption and an opportunity to bring him to his knees. The reality of the book was quite different though. I gave up less than half way through. The MMC is SO f***ing toxic towards the MFC!! He calls her a wh*re when other men show interest and sexually harass her and when she’s stressed out from men treating her like a object and giving her the creeps he misinterprets her fidgets and claims she’s ”putting on a show” to entice them!! 🤬 Also the way the MFC is described is so shallow. She was the awkward kid with a ”classic beauty” instead of a striking one. Now grown up every man around want her and try’s to get into her panties or hit on her and she no longer has any imperfections. The whole story left a bad taste in my mouth and I just couldn’t see how any of these bad choices for the characters could be redemmable. Would not recommend.
