Varning för flera hemska övergrepps- och våldtäktsscener. Fruktansvärt att kvinnorna alltid ska ”gilla det lite” när de blir våldtagna. Det manliga kärleksintresset är omöjlig att tycka om då han också våldtar. Känns även som att författaren tänkt att den kvinnliga huvudpersonen ska ses som stark och självständig men det går inte fram. Lite jobbigt uppläst. En av mycket få böcker jag inte klarat av att avsluta.
