Sa-La, a brave young River woman, escapes her captors and rallies her people, determined to end the cycle of abduction and fear.
Meanwhile, Gorn, a young hunter of the Cliff-Dwellers, begins to question his own tribe's actions as he forms an unlikely connection with Sa-La during her captivity.
