Kanami and his friends head for the Kingdom of Viaysia to return The Thief of Wind’s Essence Titee to her hometown and to get Dia and Hitaki back.
Meanwhile, Ide, The Thief of Wood’s Essence, waits in the capital city, preparing for his duel with Kanami. Everything he does is for the Sovereign Queen Lorde, although he doesn’t know what the price lingering at the very edge of his memory was.
With this standoff, the long, thousand-year detour ends here and now. Titee and Ide walk the path home from the Fortieth Trial beneath falling blossoms together. Will their souls finally know peace, and will their story end with the happiness they both yearn for?
