Time remembers what we cannot.
Roman suffers from a rare form of parasomnia: what he experiences while asleep are not dreams, but memories of a life lived in the past. One night, he is pulled from his quiet life in present-day Indiana to World War II in Kraków, Poland. There, he is Abraham: a jeweler engaged to the love of his life, Eliana.
When Roman travels to Kraków in search of answers, he meets Jadwiga, a woman who shares his sense of belonging to another time. Uncovering the truth behind his visions, Roman becomes obsessed with an impossible goal: return to the past to save Eliana from her fate.
Guided by Elisabeta, a mysterious child who appears across lifetimes to guide and comfort him, can Roman change the past?
A lyrical novel of memory, love, and reincarnation, Dan Blacharski's THE MUSIC OF TIME is a time travel adventure set between modern-day America and Nazi-occupied Poland.
