They try way too hard with the writing.. to many metaphors, Like the $€x scene are good but I’m not a fan of rich sad boys like i get it dady and momy did not love you so just leave ! 🙄 But it has interesting characters that I think are in the other books.

The story was flat, it technically ticks all the boxes if you like dark academia, morally grey MMC. But, for some reason the story was just…flat. I’ve heard that the second book is better, might continue with the series but I’m not really inspired after this book.
