Neither technically accurate (U-boats surfacing to gun duel stricken DDs and subs pinging targets for range in 1941) nor consistent when it comes to the characters in the book. This book is a poor representation of the American WWII effort in the Pacific for these reasons and I do not recommend waiting the time reading or listening to it.
