En spännande berättelse, särskilt för sin tid. Inläsningen är helt fantastisk, då man valt en manlig och en kvinnlig skådespelare som representerar de manliga respektive kvinnliga karaktärer utav vilkas dagböcker och brev berättelsen består av. Båda gör ett otroligt jobb med tidstypisk intonation och alla karaktärer hr unika, men aldrig överdrivna eller parodisiska, dialekter.
