The quest to find Eris leads Sora’s party through their most dangerous territory yet. First, it’s a walk through the Vossheil Empire, a brutal authoritarian regime where humans are oppressed and nonhumans are exploited—and where Sera must confront a ghost from her days as a slave. Next, it’s the Black Forest, home to some of the most dangerous monsters in this world. Finally, their arrival in the Black Forest town—a place of shelter for demons and elfkind alike—leads Sora to a new phase in his quest that will bring him face-to-face with all of his deepest fears. What started as a leisurely stroll around a new world is about to reach its climax!
